Keep Brazos Beautifuls Y.E.L.L. (Young Environmental Leaders League) Elects New Officers & Invites Interested Brazos County High School Students to Join Them
Keep Brazos Beautiful's Youth Advisory Board the Y.E.L.L. (Young Environmental Leaders League) has elected their new officers for the next year. Serving as President is Faryal Masud, a senior at A&M Consolidated High School, Vice President/ President Elect is Taylor Colwell, a junior at Bryan High School, Secretary is Katie Chapman, a junior at Bryan High School,
The students in the Y.E.L.L. learn valuable leadership skills while acting as a junior board of directors for Keep Brazos Beautiful. They organize a variety of volunteer environmental programs each year that help to educate and engage Brazos County citizens young and old to keep our community clean and beautiful with the aim of contributing to the economic vitality, safety, health and well being of our community. Their committees work on community service projects relating to litter prevention and cleanup, recycling, tree stewardship, beautification and community improvement.
Any high school student in Brazos County who is interested in joining the group is encouraged to apply for next years board by August 31st.
