Are you looking for a cause that you, your family, or organization can give your time and talents to? Why not Keep Brazos Beautiful? We're a non-profit organization dedicated to beautifying our community. We sponsor year-round programs and projects that depend on volunteers to make them happen. We especially need help in the following areas:

Beautification
In this area, we need volunteers to help get businesses on Texas Ave. to plant crepe myrtles on their property, spread the word about managing litter, and engage in community cleanups. You can also organize neighborhood beautification projects or adopt a street or highway. Or concentrate on making your yard or business landscape the best in your neighborhood and win a beautification award.

Litter and Recycling
We need people to help spread the word about recycling and waste management, including annual recycling of telephone books and hazardous materials.

Education
If you enjoy children, then you'd be terrific at presenting our youth curricula programs at local elementary, middle, and high schools. If you are a teacher or are sponsor for a youth group, then be sure your group does a beautification project that is eligible for a Miller Youth Award, given each spring.

Finance

Public Awareness/Awards
We need your input and help on how to better make our citizens aware on how they can do their part in beautifying our community.

Membership/Fundraising
Bryan/College Station has around 100,000 people. Keep Brazos Beautiful has only 345 members who contribute $25 or more annually. You can help us by becoming a member yourself and recruiting friends, neighbors, and business colleagues. By donating $25 annually, you'll receive the Green Card, which gives you discounts at local coffee shops, restaurants, and much more!
